Leaving soon? Did you know that Americans throw away 85 percent of the clothes in their closet that they don't want? As you may know producing clothes has a huge impact to the environment all over the World. What about little help to the environment and don't throw away your "old" clothes, that you don't want to take back home with you?
Re-using or recycling clothing has numerous benefits, including saving water (less new cotton or wool has to be grow, reducing pollution (from reduced use of wool-cleaning chemicals and fabric dyes, reducing resource use, energy use and greenhouse gas emissions from reduced manufacturing of virgin materials, and of course providing affordable clothing for needy families and individuals.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN FOR YOU?
We will collect all the clothes you don't need anymore and then give it to the charity in Ústí nad Labem. Boxes will be prepared for you in the vestibule of K1 (in front of the ESN Usti office) from 1st February until 7th February.
This will be our last SocialErasmus event in this semester. We just want to say, that you were always so great and we appreciate that you always join us in such big number and help our local community.
So don't stop to help us with making the World better place through SocialErasmus!
