Museums Day ESN Usti

Hi guys,
have you considered visiting the local Museum in Ústí but you were afraid of language barier? Now it’s your opportunity to ge there without this fear. ESN Usti in cooperation with city hall of Ústí are making english guided visit of the museum and even more. The another exciting part of program is visit of Museum of civil defence, which is built in the past FALLOUT SHELTER under the chateau of Větruše. Full program:

9:00 (Venue: Museum of the city of Usti nad Labem
Welcome by the Mayor/vice mayor of the city of Usti nad Labem and by the director of the Museum
Short presentation about the history of the city and about the Museum and its activities
9:30 – 10:00 Coffee break
10:30 – 11:45 “Once upon a time in northwest” - current exhibition about year 1945 in Ústí nad Labem (guided tour by Mr. Tomáš Okurka, curator)
11:45 – 13:00 Walking through the city centre, visiting interesting places connected to war places15:00 – 16:00 Museum of civil defence, guided tour (former bomb shelter and later fallout shelter)
